Joom Marketplace is a platform for shopping from all over the world. Joom Marketplace helps consumers to make shopping easy and entertaining and provides access to high quality goods from around the world.

Joom Marketplace is one of the key businesses of Joom, international  group of e-commerce and fintech companies that was founded in 2016 in Latvia. Joom also includes the following businesses: Onfy, a pharmaceutical marketplace in Germany; Joompay, a fintech service for daily financial transactions in Europe; Joom Logistics, a business that provides logistics, technology and infrastructure services for cross-border eCommerce; JoomPro, a platform for cross-border wholesale trade. Joom offices are located in Latvia, China, Hong-Kong, the USA, Germany, Luxembourg and Russia.

In the end of 2021 we started onboarding sellers from India and within less than half of year they are showing quite impressive growth, aiming to become #2 top origin on the platform by the end of the year. Indian market offers quite a wide range of good quality and unique products, like jewellery, cosmetics and etc. 

Now we are looking for a Key Account manager, who will establish long-term relations with existing and new merchants in order to achieve long-time growth and help our sellers get maximum out of the current trend. As the sphere is relatively new for us, it provides the candidate with a big opportunity for personal and carrier growth!


Responsibilities

  • Effectively handle and resolve merchant concerns and support issues
  • Maintain existing merchants loyalty
  • Communicate relevant merchant complaints or inquiries to product managers
  • Constantly search for the ways to increase sales of the Indian sellers on the platform and increase their business efficiency
  • Negotiate better pricing policy with existing sellers
  • Provide onboarding for the new sellers
  • Build and manage a Indian merchants pipeline
  • Coordinate closely with the Merchant Services team to ensure smooth merchant transition on to the Joom marketplace
  • Gather, prioritise and communicate new partnership requests to the Merchant Services team
  • Participate in industry conferences to establish Joom as a leading B2B partner in India
Requirements
  • Native or advanced Hindi
  • Fluent English
  • Good communication skills
  • Analytical mindset
  • Proactive approach

Preferred

  • Experience in marketing
  • Experience in cross-border e-commerce
